Weekend recap: Friday: HS reunion I went to jersey for the first time in 2 years. (Will more like 5 because I didn't really stay there long when I came to visit 2 years ago from Korea). Met up with Kil (John: I don't know what that's about), Henry, Alex and Kenny at Kil's newly opened Ice cream and Coffee store to talk about the "good old times". I think it has been over 10 years since we were all together in one place. We chilled out at Kil's store for hours like we used to at his parent's video stores back in High school. A lot of memories in that place. From free rentals to largest adult video collection in bergan county. Only one that was missing was Brain Park aka "Busy B" (His old DJ name) Saturday: Jung's Wedding I tried to take public transportation to Flushing from NJ (2 hour travel) but as I was waiting for the bus for 5 minutes with my suit on, sweating like a pig, I said F*** with this sh*t and ended up driving. (I was very surprised with the fact that I still remembered how to get there. Will remember how to drive nontheless.) I have been to many weddings before but this time was the first time for many things. I have never seen a groom more happier than a bride, and I was sober the whole time~ BoOOOoOooOo Being sobor at a wedding is not much fun. Sunday: Cho dae Cho dae finally built its own church in Norwood. After mapquesting it, I got there in 2 hours when it suppose to only take me 30 minutes. I finally arrived when the service was over and half the people already gone. I remember the time when I use to go to church and know almost all the faces but, going back after 10 years, didn't really have the same effect. I got to see Kyung (annie: i don't know what that's about) with her HUGE~ engagement ring (2.03K with two .33K on each side), Christina with her permed hair and Lisa (Little Lisa). Lisa didn't really seem too fund of seeing me again though. =T Went to watch the softball game Cho dae vs ??? and went to Red robins for dinner. Never had Red robins before but, i think the food was okay~. Didn't really eat much of it. Monday: Old prom date Call up Jen Lee (my old senior prom date) for lunch. I think this was the first time seeing her after the prom. She brought out my cousin, and this girl name Michelle whom I am supposely too short for~ that also works at LG with her. It was weird seeing my friend with my cousin when my friend is someone that I haven't seen for 10 years but it wasn't too bad. Jen also showed me her engagement ring~. It was simple and clean. Having a thin ring acutally made already big ring (1.8K) look bigger. Thanks again Mike (aka CEO of LG) for the lunch.
Summary: The trip itself wasn't wide or crazy, but I have to admit the memories we retracked definitely was. THE END |
